I’m sure there’s a variation on this flowchart that takes young kids into account… “Is it mid afternoon? Yes? Is there some semblance of a beach? Yes? You’ve found the perfect campsite! Setup up camp now!”
All the other variations involve children who are cranky due to being in a canoe/kayak for too many hours ;-)
More seriously though.. what are your criteria for a perfect campsite?

There is no perfect campsite…
